Before comparing, make sure every day in that cutoff is logged the way it happened.
Why doesn't it match?
A difference isn't automatically a payroll error. Check these first, from most to least common:
Missing logs. Overtime, an absence or leave you forgot to enter.
Payroll cutoff lag. Many companies pay overtime and adjustments one cutoff late. Compare the next payslip too.
Wrong daily rate. Kompyut's daily or hourly rate is different from the one on your payslip. See which daily rate to pick.
Premium method. Payroll may pay premium on basic instead of stacking.
Different night differential. Some companies pay more than 10%, or use different hours.
Allowances and adjustments. Items on the payslip that aren't pay for hours, like allowances, refunds or corrections from past cutoffs.
An actual error. It happens.

Calibrate: let Kompyut find your payroll's method
When a cutoff doesn't match, a Calibrate panel appears. It recomputes that cutoff many ways, using the payroll methods companies commonly use, and shows you the settings that reproduce your payslip exactly (within ₱1).

Pick a suggestion and apply it. Your settings update and every cutoff is recomputed.
Tip. Calibrate works best on a cutoff with holidays, overtime or night hours, because those are where payroll methods differ. Check it against a second payslip before trusting it.
Good to know. If nothing matches, your logs for that cutoff are probably incomplete, or the payslip includes something that isn't pay for hours worked.
Raising a difference with HR
Treat a difference as a reason to ask, not as proof. Payroll may know something Kompyut doesn't, like a policy or a late adjustment.
List the specific dates, hours and amounts.
Ask which days or hours are included in the payslip.
Check the next cutoff, since late items often appear there.
